Sophie Mitchell — Founder of Aloura Apparel
Sophie has always found strength, freedom and confidence in movement. From dance classes to the gym, moving her body has been about joy and self-expression, not punishment. But she grew frustrated with activewear that was unflattering, poorly made, or simply didn’t last.

In 2025, Sophie launched Aloura Apparel, combining her passion for movement with a drive to create gymwear that truly works for women. As a female founder running an independent business in Scotland, Sophie’s vision is bigger than clothing: it’s about creating a community of women who feel unstoppable in every aspect of their lives.
